BioTeetering on the edges of the autism spectrum somewhat my greatest comforts are an internet connection and my ipod. My interest clusters around artificial intelligence, economics, prediction markets, physics, microbiology, maths, computer science, psychology, game theory, cosmology and computer hardware developments.
My music taste encompasses electronic, experimental, progressive, post-rock, indie rock, math rock, krautrock, slowcore, hip hop, avante-garde, synthpop, protopunk, twee.
I am the author of SharpNEAT, a neuro-evolution software framework/package written in C#.
My economics interest extends beyond stuffy academic discussions into the real world of stock, currency and commodity trading (Bonds are just entering my radar). Essentially I look for mispricings wherever I can find them. It would be fair to classify me as a contrarian trader, but that's just a consequence of the behaviour (baahaviour?) of sheeple.
I love all things web culturish - Wikipedia, slashdot, reddit, blogging, webcomics, open source, google, youtube, google video (especially lectures)
